August in the Philippines is declared as Akdang Pinoy (Filipino Literature) Month. To show our appreciation, we’ve created artworks for the two words kilig and tampo. Uniquely Filipino, these words define feelings so particular they are rather difficult to express in another language, like English. This just shows how colorful and vibrant the Filipinos are.   1. These are such lovely words (visually, and in terms of meaning)! I find it so wonderful when other languages have words that can capture emotions in a different way! Unfortunately I don’t know any Filipino words hehehe…
